We Are Home!

I think Connor said it best when we walked in our door today and he said, "Oh yeah". Oh yeah, it's good to be home!

We had a wonderful trip to Texas (thanks to our fantastic hosts, aka Momma and Papa Poole (didn't know we called you that did you? I didn't either until just now). They set up a fantastic hotel room for us via the back bedroom. We slept like babies, or better, seeing as how we slept in later than Connor every day. It was good to see our family and enjoyed celebrating the holidays with them.

On Christmas Eve we flew home from Texas and then drove down to Ephraim to spend time with our family there. Unfortunately Connor threw up during the Christmas Eve party that night at my grandparents house(just a little something he brought back from Texas). We took him back to my mom's and bathed him. When my family got back we opened up our Christmas Eve pajama's and then went to bed. Santa came and we had a blast opening up presents and everything in the morning. Connor was certainly doing better but was and still is tired and not feeling like himself. The rest of the house hold was feeling the same crummy way so we all just stayed around the house. It was fun nonetheless.

We headed back from Ephraim this morning and have continued to rest today. Bevo and Hemi seem happy to see us and we are definitely happy to see them. It doesn't look like they've thrown any parties or anything while we were away. I think they were well behaved.
