Let the Potty Training Begin!

This afternoon it finally happened...I ran out of diapers (even though I have since found a few more down in the car). I put training pants on Connor and explained to him that we had no more diapers so he needed to start using the potty. Then I got out a big jar of bubble gum and told him he could only have some when he was sitting on the potty. To my amazement, he ran right in there, sat down and had some success. I know that I am the one that actually is going to need more training then Connor, it's so easy to just let him wear a diaper, now I've got to get used to making sure he gets in there enough throughout the day and clean up the inevitable accidents. Here we go...wish me luck.
