(We are dorks and sing the "Dollop of Daisy Sour Cream jingle" [with some words changed of course] to our little James-y all the time...and he loves it...so that's what my title and subtitle are all about...in case you were wondering :)
ANYWAY, Our little dollop of James-y is 4 months old today!
He went to his well-visit this morning and is doing great. Connor was very protective of James and told the nurse to "stop doing that to my James" when she was measuring him. When he got his shots big brother C teared up and screamed "Oh no! James! James! No! No!" and pushed the nurse. Yep, I guess he truly is looking out for his little bro.
Here's a few fun facts about our little man at 4 months:
-Weighs 14 lbs. 3 oz. (50th percentile)
-Is 24 inches long (20th percentile)
-Has a head circumference of 16 1/2 inches (50th percentile)
-Wears size 3-6 month clothing.
-Wears size 1 diapers.
-Eats 6 oz bottles every 4 hours in the daytime and once if at all during the night.
-Is excited to have his first solid food sometime later today!
-LOVES bedtime!
-Sleeps 12-13 hours at night.
-LOVES his jumparoo.
-LOVES his big brother's attention.
-LOVES his mommy and daddy.
-Mostly ignores Bevo and Hemi lately (and they do the same to him).
-Likes to swing in his cradle swing on the lowest speed and watch his bees spin around.
-Is digging his car seat more and more.
-Rolls back and forth like crazy.
-Is scooting around a little (mostly in circles on his tummy and forward a foot or two).
-Smiles and laughs when we sing the "Dollop of Daisy jingle to him" or he hears the actual commercial on tv.
-Is a happy, giggly, grinny, baby boy.

I can't believe it has been 4 months already. Time flies when you look at it from other people's perspective. I feel like it was just yesterday that I came over to visit and see him and told you guys I was pregnant. When I think of it from the pregnancy perspective, it's been forever! haha.
That's so cute that Connor is so protective of James. You have the cutest kids!
