I have NEVER taken my Christmas decorations down before New Year's Day. I usually love having them up for New Years Eve...they make it still seem holiday-ish to me.
Anyway, this year is different. I don't know if it's the warm sunny skies here in Texas or what, but for some reason I'm wanting to take them down today. It just doesn't feel right having them up now. Although I know it is still December I feel like it is May. I called Marcus at work to make sure I wouldn't offend him by clearing them out and he gave me the go ahead, so...here I go.

Oh, of course you had to mention the warm sunny sky in texas! I'm ready for springtime! I took our decorations down christmas night- I'm ridiculous.
I took mine down today too...not sure why but I think it had something to do with that fact that I was bored or something. Bring on the new year.
I'm with you and everybody else, mine came down on Sunday. It was great to see you at the Olson party. Was your trip home as good as it was coming?
oddly enough I did the same, well, started...I have SO many, it will take a couple of days, but I am just feeling like the holiday is over, so might as well get the dreaded part out of the way too!
That's funny. I think I would do the same thing if it was way warm outside. I don't feel any need to take down the decorations yet. I'll blame it on the pregnancy... so maybe next week. :)
