Not So Cheap

Last year I made a post about how pricey yearly car registrations are in Utah and I was happy that next year (this year...this month actually) was going to be so much cheaper because I would be in Texas, and I was told their registration was cheap.

Guess what?

Today I will be spending nearly $300 to get my car registered in Texas. That is not so cheap! In fact, it's a hundred more than Utah! Stinkin' "new resident tax", county registration fee, state registration fee, and title application fee.

Hopefully next year when I do not have to register as a "new resident" I will save a little money.

yeah registration stinks...I've put off getting my car registered (shame on me) only because it's SUPER expensive here. It's going to cost me AT LEAST $500 to get my car registered...not looking forward to that. Maybe I'll get cut a break next year too. I can only hope.

I think that kind of thing is such a waste of money. You already pay so much for a car, and now all of this on top of it? it sucks!

Arizona is really expensive too!

Is that your orange car? Cause I LOVE it! It's the same color as my car, only I have a Escape.
