I have taken a lot of fun pictures all along our way thinking I would be able to make a slamming blog post documenting our whole little journey...and I will...just not today...because I cannot find my camera cord to download all my pictures to the computer. It's packed away in one of the boxes we have not gotten to yet, so until I find it, this is unfortunately as good as it's going to get. And since I hope to make that post sometime soon I will avoid writing too much now and just give you a basic update.
Everything went well on the Utah end of the move. We were able to get everything packed, cleaned, and sent off to Texas. We said goodbye to our friends (which was much more sad than I expected it to be) and our first home (which was much less sad than I thought it might be).
We all made it to Texas safely and got moved into our apartment. Marcus started his job at Zerorez and has really enjoyed it so far. The overtime potential during his training there is awesome and we are both very excited about it. The boys and I have been enjoying our new place and are having a good time slowly getting it unpacked and put together.
Over-all things are going well. Marcus and I both agree that being here is the right thing for us and our kids at this point in our life. The experience has been good for us even though there have definitely been some unexpected weird moments since arriving. We're excited to keep moving forward and seeing what this adventure has in store for us and we'll definitely keep you posted along the way!

I am so glad that things are going well for you guys! I'm also glad that Marcus is liking his new job... that's totally awesome. We lost our camera cord for awhile and we were able to put pics online by downloading them straight from the card onto the laptop. Jared's computer is a bit older than yours so I wonder if your computer has it. It's just a slot on the computer where you can put the memory card. I hope this helps!
That's great that this has been a smooth transition for you all. We moved last year only 15 minutes away from where we lived and it was a NIGHTMARE. I was cleaning that apartment till 2 am the night we left. With my landlords, RS pres, and 3 other friends.
And I didn't have a NEWBORN and didn't go CROSS-COUNTRY. I'm amazed, Anna. You're awesome. And I REALLY want to see pics!! Though I still haven't found the cord from our last camera.
