Today went ok in the packing, cleaning, and preparing to move area. Marcus was a champ and worked like crazy all day long (after working a night shift all last night and only getting a 3 hour nap). He picked up our moving truck, car trailer, and some much needed furniture we bought for our new place (a kitchen table and dressers). He boxed up nearly all of the kitchen and bathroom and loaded the boxes into the truck.
Connor and I had a much more leisurely day. We played outside with our neighbors for the last time. I helped in the kitchen before going out and then cleaned it with my mother (gotta love a mom's help!) afterwards. I am also excited to say that I helped carry down the boxes we had packed after just giving birth 2 1/2 weeks ago (don't tell my doctor, though, I was ordered to do NOTHING for the move).
Connor was SO excited to see the big truck when it came, but when he actually got outside by it, and then sat inside of it, he became incredibly scared and wanted to be nowhere near it. He is happy his daddy and uncle Tommy are going to drive it and that he gets to ride on the big airplane instead.
My mom was a huge help today watching James for me. She is going to be with us until the Monday after we move in and we sure appreciate all she's doing!
My brother Matt was here willing to help us today as well. He went and bought dinner for us tonight and we sure appreciated it.
Tomorrow is going to be a BUSY day but I am looking forward to it. Here's to hoping we can get it all done in a timely manner and get on with this already...
